Plain rules for using the generator, sharing your own versions, and what we can and cannot promise.
What the site is
This is a free tool that rewrites the text you type using Unicode characters that look like styled letters. It does not install a font anywhere and it does not change how any other program works. You copy the result and paste it wherever you like.
No account is needed and nothing is charged.
What you can do with the output
The styled text you generate is yours. Use it for anything — profiles, captions, usernames, videos, commercial work. We claim no rights over it and you owe us nothing for it.
What we cannot promise
Styled text is made of ordinary Unicode characters, so how it looks is decided by the device and the app displaying it, not by us. In particular:
- Some characters show as empty boxes on devices whose system font does not include them.
- Some platforms strip, reject or silently rewrite certain characters in usernames, nicknames and profile fields.
- Screen readers read these characters out one by one, so styled text is far less accessible than plain text. Keep anything that matters — your handle, contact details, prices — in normal letters.
Always paste a result somewhere harmless and look at it before you use it anywhere permanent.
Platform rules are not ours
Other services set their own rules about usernames and display names. If a platform bans, limits or resets an account for using unusual characters, that is between you and them. We have no influence over it and no liability for it.
Trademarks and affiliation
TextStylish is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, Snapchat, X/Twitter, YouTube, or any other platform named on this site.
Those names, and any game or app names that appear in our guides, are the trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the service being discussed — to tell you what a style does when you paste it into that app. We do not use anyone’s logo as a badge of endorsement, and nothing here should be read as an official statement from any of those companies.
If you own a mark and believe we have used it in a way that goes beyond plain identification, write to us and we will correct it.
Sharing your own versions
The contribution box publishes what you submit to every other visitor. When you use it you confirm that what you are posting:
- is yours to post;
- contains nobody’s personal information, including your own;
- is not illegal, hateful, sexual, threatening or designed to harass anyone;
- is not advertising, spam, a link or an attempt to break the site.
We filter obvious cases automatically and we remove anything else we consider unsuitable, at our discretion and without notice. By posting, you allow us to display and store your submission on this site indefinitely.
Fair use of the service
Please use the site as a person would. Do not run automated scripts against it, scrape it in bulk, or try to overload the generator. We rate-limit requests and may block traffic that behaves this way.
The site’s own content
The articles, layout, design and code of this site belong to us. You may quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing whole articles, or copying the site’s design, is not permitted without written permission.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it or from being unable to use it. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be signed away.
Links to other sites
Where we link somewhere else, we do not control that site and are not responsible for what it contains.
Where these terms apply
TextStylish is an international website. It is not aimed at any single country, and these terms deliberately do not nominate a governing law or a particular court.
That works in your favour rather than ours: whatever consumer-protection rules apply where you live continue to apply to you, and nothing written here removes them. If a court where you live decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, that part simply drops away and the rest still stands.

These terms may change as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date below.
